We encourage WWP alumni and qualifying disabled veterans to take advantage of this opportunity. The mission of WWP is to honor and empower wounded service personnel and veterans who have incurred service-connected wounds, injuries, or illnesses on or after September 11, 2001. For more information about the WWP please visit www.woundedwarriorproject.org. Professional Association Therapeutic Horsemanship Intl. has partnered with Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) to provide equine-assisted activities and therapies for Wounded Warrior Project alumni.

Thank you to the Girl Scouts of Eastern South Carolina for honoring CATR’s Executive Director Murray S. Neale as a “Woman of Distinction” alongside  seven other trailblazing women from the Charleston area.  The ceremony took place on Monday, May 9th at the South Carolina Aquarium as these fantastic women were honored by Girl Scouts (past and present), emceed by Carolyn Murray from News 2.  It is such an honor for Murray to be recognized by this organization among this group of distinguished women and she thanks everyone for their continued support.

Check out Moses the Wonder Cat’s new Facebook page!  Moses is an orange tabby who adopted CATR Farms as his home in 2010.  He is a Good Will Ambassador to the farm, and greets all visitors with a purr and a meow.  Moses ADORES the students who come out to ride, and gives great joy to all who meet him.  Search him on Facebook and click “Like” to keep up with Moses’ adventures.

This event gives our therapeutic and community lesson students the chance to show off their skills for friends and family. Therapeutic students will ride 10-12 and community students will ride 1-4. If you are looking for something to do today, come on out and support these students as they demonstrate what they have been working on.
