Community Lesson Instructors:

Shayla Cataldo- Shayla earned her B.S. in Psychology from the College of Charleston in 2009 while competing on the college’s varsity Equestrian Team. She is a lifelong equestrian with extensive experience in competitive hunter/jumper riding. She began teaching at age 18, and she has been with CATR Farms since April 2008.

Anja Cain- Anja received her B.A. Music Education in Berlin, Germany in 1997. She was trained in Germany in dressage, and she holds riding and lunging certificates from the German Equestrian Federation. Anja started CATR Farms’ vaulting program in 2005 and has coached the team at several competitions.

Julia Nichols- Julia graduated from the College of Charleston in 2010 with a B.S. in Physical Education. She was also a member of the CofC Equestrian Team and competed at the Annual Intercollegiate Horse Show Association National Competition four times. Julia also earned her C1 rating from the US       Pony Club.
