Director of Community Lessons:

Julia Nichols- Julia graduated from the College of Charleston in 2010 with a B.S. in Physical Education. She was also a member of the CofC Equestrian Team and competed at the Annual Intercollegiate Horse Show Association National Competition four times. Community Lesson/Vaulting Instructor:

Anja Cain- Anja received her B.A. Music Education in Berlin, Germany in 1997. She was trained in Germany in dressage, and she holds riding and lunging certificates from the German Equestrian Federation. Anja started CATR Farms’ vaulting program in 2005 and has coached the team at several competitions.

Karen Pfeil Brittle- Karen received her B.A. in English from the University of Rhode Island and her M.A. in English/ Creative Writing from Rhode Island College.  She is an Advanced Level Instructor with PATH International since 2011 as well as a PATH Intl. Mentor Instructor. Karen has over 20 years of experience riding, including 10 years of experience in training and education with diverse populations including teens at-risk, college students, adults with life-long literacy challenges and students of all ages with special needs.
