*Anja Cain, Instructor

M. Ed. in Music Education from the Universitaet der Kuenste, Berlin, Germany. Instructor for Interactive Vaulting within the therapeutic program, coordinator of the able-bodied vaulting team at CATR Farms, community lesson instructor; Member of the PATH Intl Interactive Vaulting Committee. PATH Intl. certified Registered Instructor with CATR since 2008.

Bachelor of Science, Anthropology, College of Charleston; Creative Writing Major-Charleston County School of the Arts; C-2 Rated Pony Clubber; Evented to training level.  Riding instructor for 13 years; 5 years non-profit Management Experience; PATH Intl. certified instructor and CATR Executive Assistant since April 2007.

Bachelor of Business Administration, Marketing and International Business,·University of Cincinnati; Master of Science in Management, Southern Wesleyan University. Department of Defense consultant.·Hunter/Jumper 23 years.·Began volunteering at CATR in 2004; PATH Intl. certified Registered Instructor with CATR since 2008.

*Mira Kraft, Instructor

Bachelor of Science, Environmental Science, Loyola University, Chicago, IL. Volunteer with CATR since 2009, PATH Intl. certified registered instructor since 2011. 22 years of equestrian experience. Pursuing M.S. in occupational therapy at Medical University of South Carolina,  expected graduation 2012

*Meggett Lavin, Instructor

Bachelor of Arts, Writing & Literature, Wheaton College, Norton, MA; Kellogg Fellow in Museum Education, The Field Museum, Chicago Ill; Eighteen years non-profit management experience as Curator of Education, Research and Interpretation, Drayton Hall, National Trust for Historic Preservation, Charleston, SC; National and international recognition for student programs and teacher education; Thirty-five years horse experience: Junior hunters & equitation; Novice eventing and dressage; Parelli Natural Horsemanship level II; CATR founding board member; Sixteen year CATR volunteer, including six years as board chair; PATH Intl. certified Registered Instructor with CATR since 2008.

Bachelor of Science, Special Education, Greensboro College; preschool director, Boulder Colorado; PATH Intl. Registered instructor and administrative assistant with CATR since 2001, Volunteer Coordinator since 2009; Line Therapist in ABA Therapy with children with Autism from 2009 to 2011.

*Melissa Weir, Instructor

Bachelor of Science, College of Charleston; certification in three areas of special education; taught LD students in Charleston County School District at Drayton Hall Middle for 8 years, began a mainstreaming program; started, taught, and wrote curriculum for K4 class at Charleston Catholic School; taught for 5 years; certified as a regular education teacher; PATH Intl. certified Registered Instructor with CATR since 2008.
