Check out this link to one of our instructor’s time on a local telethon for Carolina Children’s Charities talking about one of our student’s who has Autism. We are so thankful to organizations like Carolina Children’s Charities for supporting families dealing with disabilities in the Charleston area.
Check one of our instructors out today on the Carolina Children’s Charities telethon on News 2 at 3:25 this afternoon talking about the benefits of therapeutic riding for our students.
Our favorite quotes from the school group yesterday at CATR Farms…
“I can wipe my mouth and ride my horse at the same time!!!” said with astonishment
“This is the best day of my life!!”
Mark your calendar, get your tickets because it’s time for CATR’s third annual open house “In the Company of Horses”! Sunday April 17th from 4:00-7:00 pm we will have live and silent auctions, craft sale, wonderful lowcountry fare from the Stono Cafe, and fantastic music by the South Carolina Broadcasters. Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the gate with children 10 years old and up at $10 per ticket. Call 843 559-6040 to purchase your tickets by credit card, or send a check to CATR Farms, PO Box 146 Johns Island, SC 29457. This is a wonderful way to spend and evening “In the Company of Horses” and to raise money for CATR’s scholarship fund which directly impacts our student’s opportunities to ride. Thank you all for all your support!
This is a wonderful article published in the Post and Courier Newspaper on March 13, 2011 by Ken Burger, about one of our students, Dr. David Larach. We hope you enjoy reading it.
